Jackman has long been an actor in theater and a multiple host of The Tony Awards. He hosted in 2003, 2004, and 2005 and is set to host yet again in 2014 and at the 68th Tony Awards this year in 2014. Jackman himself won a Tony Award for his role in The Boy from Oz in 2004 for Best Leading Actor in a Musical.


He is also an avid sportsman, having played multiple sports in high school, including rugby, cricket, swimming and was a high jumper. He claims to also have received a great deal of clarity and inner clam from his practice of Transcendental Meditation, having done it since the age of twenty. He credits this as a means to remain relaxed during stressful times.
