1960 – He was born Sean Justin Penn on the 17th day of August in Santa Monica, California. American actor.          – He attended Santa Monica College in Santa Monica, California, studying auto mechanics and speech, but did not graduate with a degree. 1981 – He launched his career with the film "Taps", followed a year later with the comedy "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" in the role of Jeff Spicoli and has since starred in over 40 movies. 1985 – He married the famous singer Madonna on August 16th and divorced four years later.          – He also gave a memorable performance in the role of Andrew Daulton Lee in The Falcon and the Snowman. 1996 – Married to Robin Wright on April 27th. 1997 – He directed the music video for her song "You Were Meant For Me". 2002 – On the 18th of October this year, he placed a $56,000 advertisement in the Washington Post asking President George W. Bush to end a cycle of violence. It was written as an open letter and referred to the planned attack on Iraq and the War on Terror. 2003 – He won Best Actor in the Academy Awards for his movie “Mystic River”.          – His Buick Grand National was stolen in Berkeley, California with two firearms in the trunk. 2004 – He won Best Actor at the Golden Globe Awards.          – He received the John Steinbeck award at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco. 2005 – He made a visit to Iran.
