1755 – Born on April 11th in London, England. But the best known of his works is Essay on the Shaking Palsy, which is the first profile of the disease which now bears his name, Parkinson’s.

1785 – English physician, geologist, and paleontologist, was educated for the medical profession, and practiced in Hoxton, from about the year.

1807 – He was a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, and one of the original members of the Geological Society of London.

         – He was author of numerous chemical and medical books, the most important of which were Organic Remains of a Former World (3 vols.), and Outlines of Oryctology.

1824 – Died on December 21st in London, England.
