In 2007, Devin graduated from McGill University with a bachelor’s degree in musical performance. Devin is a member of three different Montreal based bands. He is a member of the jazz group ‘Brahja Quartet’ where he plays the saxophone and also composes the music for the group. He is a member of the avant-garde group ‘Serial Numbers’ where he sings and plays the saxophone. He is also the member of the rock group, ‘You Yourself & I’ where he plays the drums. The three bands perform in Montreal and regularly tour in Canada and the United States. As a teacher at the Montreal Academy of Music, Devin shares his love of music with his students. Lessons offer includes a wide range of elements that includes: basic sound and finger technique, rhythmic training, sight-reading, ear training, song-learning, and theory. He teaches students of all ages.
