Bowden, Terry Wilson

         – Terry Bowden is the analyst for national college football radio broadcasts, the host of a weekday sports talk show in Central Florida and a traveling motivational speaker.

1977 – Bowden donned the Mountaineers uniform, earning two letters as a running back.

1978 – Bowden secured his first coaching position at his alma mater, West Virginia, as a graduate assistant.

1979 – Bowden was a graduate assistant under his legendary father, Bobby, at Florida State University.

1983 – Bowden became the youngest head football coach in America when he was hired by Salem College in Salem, West Virginia.

1986 – Bowden was on board at Akron, where he coached the quarterbacks under former Notre Dame head coach Gerry Faust.

1987 – Bowden served as head coach at Samford University.

1993-1998 – After building winning programs from the ground up at Salem College and Samford, he coached at Auburn.

         – Bowden left his outstanding coaching career behind to make the exciting move into broadcasting with ABC Sports.

         – Bowden became the first head coach in Division IA history to lead his squad to an undefeated season in his first year at the school.

         – He was once the National Coach of the Year.

1999 – He joined ABC Sports as the college football studio analyst in August.
