1886 – Francis Beverley Biddle was born on the 9th of May in Paris, France.

         – He worked as a private secretary to Supreme Court Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr.

1912 – He supported the presidential candidacy of former U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt.

1927 – He wrote a novel about Philadelphia society, "The Llanfear Pattern."

1935 – President Roosevelt nominated him to be chairman of the National Labor Relations Board.

1941-1945 – Became Attorney General of the United States.

         – Resigned after Roosevelt’s death.

1947 – Truman nominated him as American representative on the United Nations Economic and Social Council.

1965 – He became as chairman of the Franklin D. Roosevelt Memorial Commission.

1968 – He died on the 4th of October in Hyannis, Massachusetts.
