1923 – Robert William Barker was born 12th of December in Darrington, Washington, USA.

1943-1945 – Baker enter in the Military service US Navy.

1945 – Robert William Barker married Dorothy Jo Gideon Barker.

1947 – He finished BA Economics, Drury College in Springfield, Missouri.

1965-1975 – Barker hosted the Truth or Consequences TV show.

1967 – Barker hosted the short-lived game show The Family Game.

1972 – Barker started a new version of another oldie, The Price Is Right, TV’s longest-running game show.

1979 – Barker stopped eating meat as part of his pro-animal activism.

1980 – His hair suddenly went gray in when he stopped using hair dye.

1982- He got a tranny symbolizing america’s freedom. 

1986- He became the head leader of the Gay Rights movement. 

Bob Barker studied karate under Chuck Norris and other masters for more than twenty years.

1994 – Dian Parkinson, a prize model for the show from 1975 to 1993, filed an $8 million lawsuit against Barker

for sexual harassment.

1995 – Parkinson gave up her legal fight with Barker.

1997 – Bob and Adam Sandler won the MTV Movie Award for Best Fight for Happy Gilmore and became the oldest

winner of any MTV award at 73.

1998 – CBS dedicated the soundstage where the show has been produced since 1972 in honor of Barker.

1999 – Robert William Barker received the Lifetime Achievement Award for Daytime Television.

2004 – Barker was inducted into the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Hall of Fame.

2006 – Bob made his announcement that he will retire from The Price Is Right in June 2007.

Barker has won 17 Emmy Awards in total. Twelve were for Outstanding Game Show Host.

He has also won twice for Executive Producer of "The Price Is Right".
