1928 – Born in Kfar Malal, Palestine on the 26th of February.

1942 – At the age of 14, Sharon joined the Gadna, a paramilitary youth battalion, and later the Haganah, the underground paramilitary force and the Jewish military precursor to the Israel Defense Forces.

1949 – In September, Sharon was promoted to company commander and to intelligence officer for Central Command.

1969 – He was appointed the Head of IDF’s Southern Command.

1975-1976 – Sharon was a special aide to Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin.
