
1889 – Edgar Douglas Adrian was born in LOndon on November 30, 1889.
1915 – Completed his medical degree and did clinical work at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital London.
1919 – Returned to Cambridge.
1923 – Adrian married Hester Agnes Pinsent on June 14, 1923.
1925 – Studied the nerve impulses in the human sensory organs.
1928 – Discovered the presence of electricity within nerve cells.
1977 – Died on August 8, 1977.
