In addition to his iconic role as James Tiberius Kirk on Star Trek and his starring turn in several other TV series, Shatner has written several dozen novels, including the Tekwar series and other Star Trek novels that are considered canon to the TV series. He has also written several non-fiction books about his experience with Trek, particularly the fans’ obsessions towards the show.
