1936 – Professor of pediatrics at Duke University Medical School.

1953 – 1st director of Duke University Poison Control Center.

         – Invented child-proof safety cap for medicine bottles.

1971-1972 – President of American Academy of Pediatrics.

1995 – Arena Jay Morris died.
