Lithuanian-American sculptor, painter and writer.
1887- Born on the 28th of February in Eurburg, Lithuania.
1910-1911 – Zorach studied in Paris; painted with Fauvist influence.
1916 – Came up with a one-person show in New York City that reflected his increasing interest in cubism.
1922 – Abandoned painting and became best known for his sculpture.
– Zorach worked in marble as well as various metals with notable original figural pieces characterized by their block like contours and bulk.
1929-1960 – Between these years, he taught at the Art Students League in New York City.
1966 – Died on 16th of November in Bath, Maine.
