1358 - Birth of a Bohemian general and leader of Hussites
1415 - Became the leader of the Hussites after Jan Huss, a religious reformer, was executed
1419 - Refused to acknowledge Holy Roman Emperor Sigismund as king of Bohemia despite the offer of taking the vice royalty of Bohemia
1420s - Zizka inflicted a series of defeats on Sigismund’s armies and dominated the whole country
1424 - June, he took Prague but died shortly of the bubonic plague
