
1905 – He was born on Riga, Latvia
1934 – He started out by first creating wooden models in developing his ground-breaking subminiature camera which led to the first trial product after two years.
1938 – His first ever prototype was introduced in the market.
1945 – He has founded the Minox GmbH after the World War II.
2001 – He visited Tallinn at the age of 96, the city where he invented Minox and still kept on mind Estonian, which he hadn’t have a word since World War II.
2003 – He died at the age of 97 in Binningen near Basle, Switzerland.
