1901 – Born on the 16th of January in Eureka, Utah.1920 – His family moved to Los Angeles, California.
 
1922 – Frank and his brother, Lawrence, put up an electrical supply business
 
1923 – He got married and he had three children.
 
1927 – Together with Lawrence, they started a block ice business.
 
1939 – They sold their business due to little revenue.
 
1940 – Along with his brothers and cousins, he opened an island rink which is considered one of the biggest rinks in the country, with 20,000 sq. ft. of iced surface.
 
1949 – Invented the first ice surfing machine.
 
1965 - Frank became a charter member and later became the president of the Ice Skating Institute of America.
 
1973 - Frank obtained two U.S. patents
 
1976 - He became the chairman of the board of directors
 
1988 – He received a Honorary Doctorate of Engineering from Clarkson University in Potsdam, New York. A few months later his wife died. On the 27th of July on the same year, Frank Zamboni died at the age of 87 in Long Beach, California.
