1914 – Born in Afghanistan.
1933 - Became the king of Afghanistan. He is a successor of his Father Mohammad Nadir.
1973 – His cousing Daoud Khad overthrew him. He chose to live in exile for many years than regaining his throne.
1990 – After his long silence, he decided to bring back the peace in his country, Afghanistan. He tried setting up Loya Jirga but the criticism of the Afghan Mellat Party and the Taliban Movement prevented him.
- He was given a title by the current constitution as the “"Father of the Nation" but it holds no political power.
