1955 - Born on December 6th in New York City. A stand up comedian who delivers deadpan, surreal jokes, he has occasionally appeared onscreen in supporting roles.

1985 - Released his comedy album, I Have A Pony, which was nominated for a Grammy award.

1988 - Won an Oscar for Best Short, Novelty for The Appointments of Dennis Jennings.

1992 - He was one of the cast of the television sitcom, Mad About You.

1994 - His first major screen credit was The Swan Princess.

2000-2004 - He appeared in the films, The Aristocrats, Son of the Mask, Coffee and Cigarettes and Loser.

2005 - He was Comedy Central's number 23 of the 100 greatest stand up comedians of all time.
