1725 - Patience Lovell Wright, born in England. She was the first recognized American-born sculptor. She chiefly created wax figures of people.
1748 - Married Joseph Wright.
1769 - She had amused herself and her five children by molding faces out of putty, bread dough, and wax.
1772 - He traveled to England and opened a successful wax museum.
1786 - Died on the 23rd of March.
