1663 - designed the Pembroke College Chapel in Cambridge

 

1664 - did the design for the Sheldonian Theatre, Oxford

 

1665 - designed the buildings for Trinity College in Oxford

 

1666 - great fire struck London so he replanned the city and started off supervising the rebuilding of 51 churches

- made a new design for St. Paul's Cathedral

 

1670-1710

- since the plan went through a long process he only began working on the St. Paul's Cathedral in 1670

 

1680-1682

- president of Royal Society

1723 - died after introducing the forms of new age (Renaissance) design to the vocabulary of English architecture
