1909 - Born on the 8th of January in Ogden, Utah.
1929 - She graduated from the University of Utah and married Myron Douglas Wood that same year.
1930 - She helped her husband in his missionary activities and then began teaching in a high school in Utah.
1947 - She received a master's degree from the University of Utah.
1950 - She began developing techniques to help slow readers read more quickly with increased comprehension.
1959 - She opened the first Evelyn Wood Reading Dynamics Institute, in Washington, D.C.
1995 - Died on the 26th of August in Tucson, Arizona.
