1940's-50's - After war service in the Marines and graduation from Kenyon College, Winters began his career on a radio station in his hometown of Dayton, OH.
1948 - gets Married to Eileen Schauder, they have a son and daughter.
1950's - Winters was awarded his own 15-minute NBC program (aired each Tuesday following the network news)
1960 - he issued his debut LP, The Wonderful World of Jonathan Winters,
1967-69 Has his own TV variety show.
1980's-1990's - Makes a few appearances in TV sitcoms for a few years.

Jonathan Winters remained as funny and active as ever into the 1990s, making uproarious appearances on
