1897 – Born on the 10th of April in Badgastein, Salzburg, Austria-Hungary (now Austria).

1930-1932 – Wrote novels "bread" (1930) and "heavy blood" (1932), to a vitalistic idealizing representation of the land life.

Visited the teacher seminar in Salzburg.

1934 – Recieved the large Austrian state price for literature.

1938 – Member of the NSDAP National Socialist German Labour Party.

1939 – National chairman for writers was in LV gau the Salzburg

         – Served as the National chairman for writers in gau the Salzburg.

1940 – Mayors von Wagrain.

1967 – Awarded by Austrian decoration for science and art.

1973 – He died on the 4th of November in Schwarzach im Pongau, Austria.
