Stanko Vraz was a Croatian and Slovenian poet.
1810 - Born 30th of June in Cerovec, Slovenia.
He was the first Croatian to earn his living as a professional writer.
Wrote poems and travelogues and collected folk poems.
Translated other nations' literature to Croatian.
1842 - With two of his other contributors, founded Kolo, one of Croatia's first literary magazines.
1851 - Stanko Vraz died 20th of May in Zagreb.
