1870-1871 - He returned from the War and was wounded.
1878-1883 - Wrote the dramas, Savonarola, Magda, "Die Patricierin" and Der Mohr des Zaren.
1884 - Voss became the librarian of the Wartburg.
1885-1902 - He wrote the novels, San Sebastian, Der Sohn der Volskerin , Die Sabinerin, Der Mönch von Berchtesgaden, Der neue Gott, Die Rächerin, Allerlei Erlebtes and Die Leute von Valdars.
1918 - Died on June 10th in Berchtesgaden, Germany.
