1799 - Born in Kingston on the 13th of May.
1818 - He graduated from Union College, studied law, was admitted to the bar and commenced practice in Kingston.
1831 - He was a member of the New York State Assembly.
1836 - He was judge of Ulster County and was elected as a Democrat to the Twenty-seventh Congress.
1846 - He resumed the practice of law and was district attorney of Ulster County.
1855 - He died on the 16th of January 16 in Kingston, and interment was in Old Houghtaling Cemetery.
