1896 - Born on April 26th in Frankfurt on Main, Germany. One of the most charismatic characters of WWI, Udet was the second highest scoring and highest surviving German ace with a score of 62 kills.
1920 - Married to Eleanor Lo' Zink' on February 25th.
1935 - He was a leading German air ace in World War I, and worked in the German air ministry.
1941 - Died of suicide on November 17th in Berlin, Germany.
- Udet committed suicide following the failures of the Luftwaffe on the eastern front and a major quarrel with Goering. His death was covered up by the Nazis, who reported he had died while testing a new aircraft.
