Takahira, Kogoro, Baron
1854 - Born on the month of January in Iwate, Prefecture, Japan.
1876 - He joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.
1878 - He served as Ambassador to Austria, Hungary and to Italy.
1889 - He became the Vice Minister of Japan.
1900 - He became the Ambassador to the United States.
1905 - He participated in important Japanese-US negotiations, including the Treaty of Portsmouth which
ended the Russo-Japanese War.
1908 - He participated in Root-Takahira Agreement (agreement between the U.S. and Empire of Japan)
1926 - He died on the month of August.
