1919 – Was one of the founders of the Italian Popular Party, (Partito Popolare Italiano) (PPI).

1924 – Became the publisher of the newspaper, Partito Popolare Italiano.

1953 – Was a Senator for life.

1959 – Died on August 8th in Rome.
