1902 - Born on the 8th of June.

1924 - He graduated from Yale University, where he was elected to the secret society Scroll and Key.

         - Winning a gold medal in rowing at the Summer Olympics in Paris, France.

         - Appeared on the cover of Time magazine on the 7th of July.

1925 - On the 15th of April, he married Nancy Carnegie, grand-niece of Andrew Carnegie.

1930 - James Stillman Rockefeller joined the National City Bank after working at Brown Brothers Harriman.

1952 - Served as president.

1967 - Chairman of the National City Bank.

2004 - On the 5th of August, Rockefeller suffered a stroke.

         - Died at 4am on the 10th of August, at the age of 102.
