1969 - Christian Michael Leonard Hawkins was born on August 18th in New York to Michael Hawkins, a well-known soap actor and Mary Jo Slater, a casting agent.
1976 - Christian started in show business early, appearing on the soap opera "The Edge of Night" at the age of 7.
1978 - Made his first theater debut in 'The Music Man' at the age of 9.
1985 - He rose to fame in Hollywood after landing the role of Binx Davey in The Legend of Billie Jean.
1989 - After having a starring role in the cult hit Heathers, he became somewhat known as the Hollywood bad-boy, having many run-ins with the law.
1991 - He was previously nominated for Worst Supporting Actor at the Razzie Awards for his roles in Mobsters and Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.
1995 - Chosen by Empire magazine as one of the 100 Sexiest Stars in film history (#79).
1997 - Arrested by Los Angeles police and charged with three counts of assault with a deadly weapon and one count of battery.
2000 - He married Ryan Haddon, the daughter of 70s model Dayle Haddon. The couple have two children, Jaden Christopher and Eliana Sophia.
2004-2006 - Was listed as a potential nominee on the Razzie Award nominating ballot. He was listed as a suggestion in the Worst Actor category for his performances in the films Alone in the Dark and Mindhunters.
