1935 - He appeared on the Major Bowes Amateur Hour as part a group called the Hoboken Four.
1939 - Performed with Harry James band.
1942 - Performed with Tommy Dorsey band.
- Rose to national stardom after solo performance at Paramount Theater in New York City.
1943 - Signed with Columbia Records 1943
1945 - Lead singer on radio program "Your Hit Parade".
1953 - He won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor.
- Left Columbia Records and signed with Capitol Records.
1960 - Founded Reprise Records.
1963 - Sinatra hosted the Academy Awards ceremony.
1974 - In October, Sinatra appeared at New York City's Madison Square Garden, in a televised concert that was later released as an album under the title The Main Event Live.
1989 - Made world tour with Sammy Davis Jr. and Liza Minnelli.
1966 - Husband of Mia Farrow.
1998 - Died on the 14th of May.
