Shamir, Adi
1952 - Born in Tel Aviv.
1973 - Shamir received a BS in Mathematics from Tel Aviv University.
1975 - He obtained his MSc and PhD in Computer Science from the Weizmann Institute.
1977-1980 - He did research at MIT before returning to be a member of the faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science of the Weizmann Institute.
2002 - Shamir was awarded, together with Rivest and Adleman, the ACM Turing Award.
2006 - He also is an invited professor at École Normale Supérieure in Paris.
