Schumacher, Heinrich Christian
1780 - Born on September 3rd at Bramstedt in Holstien.
1813-1815 - He was appoiinted as the director of the Mannheim observatory.
- Became the professor of astronomy in Copenhagen.
1817 - Directed the triangulation of Holstein.
1821 - Founded the Astronomische Nachrichten and edited 31 volumes.
1822-1832 - Published Ephemerides Nachrichten with 11 parts.
1829 - He received a gold medal from the Royal Astronomical Society.
1850 - Died on December 28th at Altona, Holstein.
