1816 - Born on August 4th in Shenandoah, Oneida County, New York. A Representative from New York.
1818 - Moved with his parents to Durhamville.
1844 - He became the treasurer of Rensselaer County.
1845 - He was appointed as the alderman of Troy.
1848 - He was presented as a delegate to the Whig National Convention.
1853-1857 - He was elected as a Whig to the Thirty-third Congress and reelected as an Opposition Party candidate to the Thirty-fourth Congress.
- Was not a candidate for renomination.
1863 - He moved to New York City.
- He became president and director of several railroad companies and financial institutions.
1906 - Died on Jully 22nd in in Lawrence, Long Island, New York. His remains were buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Troy, New York.
