1868 - Born on February 1st in St-François, Qué. Canadian diplomat, physician, and politician.
1897 - Educated at Laval, Roy practiced medicine in Québec C, and after in and around Edmonton, where he worked to promote the interests of the French in the West.
1906 - He was a senator and then a pioneer in Canada's foreign service.
1911 - Became the commissioner general at Paris, France.
1928 - Was the first envoy extraordinary and minister plenipotentiary in Paris.
- The first Canadian ambassador to France.
1948 - Died on December 10th in Ottawa.
