1991 - Attended the University of California in Santa Cruz but dropped out to pursue her modeling career.

1972 - Romijn-Stamos, Rebecca Alie, born on the 6th of November in Berkeley, California, to Jaap Romijn and Elizabeth Kuizenga, both of whom are of Dutch ancestry.

1996 - She became bored with simply modeling. With the support of boyfriend John Stamos she took a chance on acting.

1997 - She made her small-screen debut as David Schwimmer's outrageously sloppy girlfriend on NBC's "Friends".

1998 - Graduated to movies as the bearded lady in Bob Saget's Dirty Work, before modeling lingerie for Mike Myers in "Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me".

         - Married John Stamos on September 19th.

1999 - She then returned to television to play David Spade's wife on "Just Shoot Me".

         - Originally hired to appear in three episodes, she was such a big hit that producers asked her to return later in the season.

2000 - She rang in the new millennium by donning head-to-toe blue body paint and scales for her role as Mystique in Bryan Singer's "X-Men".

2002 - Starred with the movie "Rollerball", was maligned by critics and Femme Fatale had a mixed reception.

2003 - Returned to the favor of audiences and critics in the sequel "X2: X-Men United" with a much meatier role for Mystique than the first film.

2004 - Co-starred opposite Thomas Jane in "The Punisher".

         - She starred with Greg Kinnear and Robert De Niro in the thriller "Godsend".

2005 - Announced her engagement to actor Jerry O'Connell in September.

2007 - Married to Jerry O'Connell on July 14th.
