Lithuanian-American sculptor, painter and writer.
1887- Born on the 28th of February in Eurburg, Lithuania.
1910-1911 - Zorach studied in Paris; painted with Fauvist influence.
1916 - Came up with a one-person show in New York City that reflected his increasing interest in cubism.
1922 - Abandoned painting and became best known for his sculpture.
- Zorach worked in marble as well as various metals with notable original figural pieces characterized by their block like contours and bulk.
1929-1960 - Between these years, he taught at the Art Students League in New York City.
1966 - Died on 16th of November in Bath, Maine.
