1853 – He was born on the 4th day of April this year in Vienna, Austria. He received his primary education at the Piarist grammar school in Pest, but he did not make his way directly towards the Technical University. He came to the idea of becoming an engineer during his pharmacist years in Kecskemét.
 
1878 – He was entrusted by András Mechwart, the Ganz factory's managing director in organizing their electricity department and it became the pioneer in AC electroindustry under his leadership.
 
1885 – He invented ZBD alternating current transformer while researching on ways to increase efficiency of electrical power transmission along with companions Blathy and Deri.
  
1942 – He died on the 29th day of November this year in Budapest at the age of 90
