Zidane, Zinedine
A French soccer player with nickname "Zizou"; born in Marseille, France, Zidane managed to make a mark in the world of soccer.
1991 - Zidane got to play his first-ever professional First Division game under Cannes team.
1994 - In just 17 minutes he was able to score two goals when he played for France against Czech Republic.
1998 - He was the World Cup MVP as he scored two goals in the finals of the said competition.
1998,2000,2003:
He was given the title "FIFA Player of the year" in the said years.
It is also noted that the soccer player became the very first male model for Christian Dior.
2006 - In his last professional game, as he retired after heading French team to the finals, Zidane was again awarded as the World Cup MVP.
