Zener, Clarence Melvin

1905 – He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana.

1930 – He earned his PhD in Physics from Harvard University with the thesis Quantum Mechanics of the Formation of Certain Types of Diatomic Molecules.

1945 – He taught at several American universities before working at the Watertown Arsenal during World War II. He taught at University of Chicago for six years.

1951 – He worked at Westinghouse for fourteen years.

1966 – He taught at Texas A&M University for two years.

1968 – He spent 25 years of his teaching career at Carnegie Mellon University.

1993 – He passed away on the 15th day of July this year.
