1949 – Born on the 18th of November in Zaqazeeq, Egypt.


1974 - He is a mechanical Engineering student before he became an actor.

He made his first film, (Children of Silence).


1980 - He had made six films and one of his greatest is Alexandria under Egypt's well known director, Yusuf Shanin.


1984 – Ahmed has a son named Haytham.


1991 – His wife Hala Fouad died due to cancer.


1996 – He played as Egypt’s presidents (Gabal Abnel Nasser and Anwar Sadat) in two admired movies in Arabic Cinema.


2001 – Because of his notable works in over 50 movies, their Egytian President Mubarak granted him Merits of Arts award.


2004 – He was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. He undergone chemotheraphy.


2005 – Died on the 27th of March in Cairo, Egypt.
