1912 -He practiced law privately -When he joined the General Electric Company as general counsel; he later served as board chairman of that firm (1922-34, 1942-44)
1919-1929 -He was also a founder and first chairman of the board of the Radio Corporation of America (RCA).
1924 -At the London Reparations Conference, Young helped write The Dawes Plan, which determined the terms of German payments to the Allies.
1929 -He chaired the Paris Conference the wrote The Young Plan, modifying the agreements.
1962- Died on July 11
