1918 - He invented Lincoln Logs.
- He was the architect for the vacation home of Paul "Ricca the waiter" DeLucia, mob chief of the Chicago Mafia.
- He became boss of the Chicago mob when Al Capone went to prison.
- He went to prison, Ricca sold the house to Jimmy Hoffa and the Teamsters Union.
- The FBI closed the house, and the trial that followed proved that there was a close relationship between the Teamsters Union and the Chicago family.
