Weller, John B.
1812 - Born on February 22nd in in Hamilton County, Ohio. A Representative from Ohio and a Senator from California.
1833 - He was the prosecuting attorney of Butler County.
1839 - He was elected as a Democrat from Ohio to the Twenty-sixth, Twenty-seventh, and Twenty-eighth Congresses.
1846 - He served in the Mexican War.
1849 - A member of the commission to establish the boundary line between California and Mexico.
1851 - He moved to California and engaged in the practice of law; elected as a Democrat from California to the United States Senate for the term commencing March 4th.
1858 - He was the governor of California.
1860 - Appointed Minister to Mexico.
1875 - He died in New Orleans, Louisiana on August 17th.
