1985 – He began skating at the age of nine. He has made nineteen trips to the US Nationals.

 

1992 – He was second placer in World Junior Championship this year.

 

1993 – He was the champion in the U.S Championship.

 

1999 – He won the national championship this year, in 2000, and in 2003. He was the first American to land a quadruple toe loop in competition. He is currently coached by Don Laws and was previously coached by Audrey Weisiger.

2002 – He placed 2nd place in Goodwill Games.

 

2004 – He won 3rd place in Skate America.

 

2006 – He rank 4th place in the U.S Championship. He has signed on to skate with Stars on Ice and recently competed in Ice Wars.
