         - Two career poles at Dover, Delaware and Brooklyn, Michigan.

         - Won the The Winston, NASCAR's all-star race, after starting last. Earlier the same day, he won the Winston Open and become the first driver to win both races.

2000 - He ran the Boston Marathon and Tampa Marathon.

2001 - Won The Daytona 500, his first win after 463 starts. Unfortunately the win was overshadowed by the death of Dale Earnhardt.
