1756 – He was born this year in England and later came to Quebec City.
1775 – He took part in the defense of the town against an invasion by the Americans.
1777 – Then he moved to Montreal and he was admitted to the bar.
1792 – He was elected to the 1st Parliament of Lower Canada for Montreal County.
1794 – He was named judge in the Court of Common Pleas for Montreal, Quebec and Trois-Rivières districts; he was named to the Court of King's Bench at Montreal later that year.
1800 – He died in Montreal.
