1897 - Born on the 10th of April in Badgastein, Salzburg, Austria-Hungary (now Austria).

 

1930-1932 - Wrote novels "bread" (1930) and "heavy blood" (1932), to a vitalistic idealizing representation of the land life.

 

Visited the teacher seminar in Salzburg.

 

1934 - Recieved the large Austrian state price for literature.

 

1938 - Member of the NSDAP National Socialist German Labour Party.

 

1939 - National chairman for writers was in LV gau the Salzburg

 

         - Served as the National chairman for writers in gau the Salzburg.

 

1940 - Mayors von Wagrain.

 

1967 - Awarded by Austrian decoration for science and art.

 

1973 - He died on the 4th of November in Schwarzach im Pongau, Austria.
