Vanzetti, Bartolomeo
1888 - Born on June 11th in Villafalletto, Cuneo. He was a Italian-American immigrant that together with Nicola Sacco was charged and executed for a homicide he hadn't committed.
1908-1915 - He emigrated to the U.S. and settled in Plymouth, Massachusetts, where he worked as a fish pedlar.
1918-1919 - Became interested in Socialism and philosophical anarchism, and spent in Mexico to avoid the draft because of their opposition to participating in the war.
1920 - They were charged with murdering two men while robbing a payroll (c.$16 000) at a South Braintree, Massachusetts shoe factory.
1921 - They were convicted and sentenced to death.
1927 - Died of execution by electric chair on August 23rd.
1977 - Was vindicated by Massachusetts governor Michael Dukasis.
