1938 - Wrote "El Gesticulador" (The Impostor) is regarded by literary historians as the play that signaled the start of modern Mexican drama.


1951 - He wrote "The Criminal Life of Archibaldo de la Cruz".


1955 - Wrote "The Devil and the Flesh".
